On Giving Tuesday, Tues., Dec. 3, 2024, the Charitable Giving Coalition (CGC) will be re-sending a comment letter we sent to the House Ways and Means Republican Tax Teams to congressional leaders urging them to permanently enact a charitable deduction for non-itemizers (see link to comment letter below).
In 2025, Congress is expected to consider tax reform as many provisions of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act are set to expire at the end of the year. The goal of the CGC letter is to urge lawmakers to permanently restore a charitable deduction for non-itemizers in any tax reform package.
We encourage your organization to sign on to our comment letter to show your support. To be listed on the letter that is sent on Giving Tuesday, please complete this sign on form by Monday, December 2. If you previously signed on to this letter, you do not need to complete the form again.
